McKayla Rose Maroney was an American gymnast who retired in 2012. Also, she is a singer. She competed in 2012 Summer Olympics as a part of The American Women's Gymnastics team, referred to by the name of Fierce Five. At the Olympics she was awarded the silver medal and a team gold. Early life. McKayla Rose Maroney was born in Aliso Viejo, California, on December 9, 1995, her parents being Erin Maroney and Mike Maroney (died 2019). McKayla is of Irish Catholic descent. Her three siblings include Tarynn, Kav and Tarynn. She was homeschooled to be an elite gymnast. Maroney states, "When we were younger, Tarzan would run on all 4s and I would be watching him. My mom was like"I have to get this child in gymnastics. Lauren Drain is a former member of the Westboro Baptist Church who wrote the 2013 book Banished, which chronicles her life and experiences, leading to her eventual exile from the church. Lauren has been wed to David Kagan, who is also a fitness model since August 2013. Aria Skye Kagan (born December 29th, 2019) is their child. Lauren briefly lived in Topeka by herself and was afflicted with the recollections of her expulsion from church and family. Her family was separated from both her church and family by her parents, siblings and brother.
