Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American actor in the field of film and television as well as a theatre actress. An accomplished thespian, she has been performing professionally for her early teens for the last 27 years. She made her acting debut on stage during an off-Broadway production of The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. Then, in The Perfect Tribute, she was the first actress to appear on television a few years after. In 1992, when she portrayed a support character in Basic Instinct the career of her took off. Alexis Thompson was his given name. His mother is Amanda Thompson. Scott Thompson is his father. The American is of American nationality as well as of white heritage. Lexi's golfing talent is traceable to her father who played golf for a while. He first began playing from a young age. Later he became a coach after he ceased playing. Lexi's two older brothers, who are discussed in the next paragraphs are also both professionals in golf. Lexis attended homeschooling during her high-school years. In September of 2012, she received acceptance into Louisiana State University, where she plans to pursue a bachelor's diploma. It is assumed that she has completed her studies with a degree, but what grade she that her school earned is still a mystery. Lexis was a member of a family that played golf so she should have plenty of knowledge in the game. In her early years, she began playing golf and in 2007, at the age of 12, she was the first female to be qualified to compete in the US Women's Open. It was not a win but she did finish second that year after winning the Aldila Junior Classic. She was the youngest American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) player to win the championship, in addition to being the winner of the Westfield Junior PGA Championship as the youngest player to do this at the time.
