The performer was born on the 26th of November 1996 at Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and her mom Valerie Barba. In 2006, the couple moved with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. When she arrived in New Jersey, she finished her studies through Red Bank Catholic High School. She was a graduate of Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. A violinist since age 4, Violingirl was her nickname. The name she was given by her name due to her performance. She also taught children from the locality on how to play the violin. She performed Free beginning in 1976 during the auditions for American Idol's sixth season at age 19.
